Things to Consider when Considering SEO

There many business related reasons to consider when considering whether or not your business or project might need search engine optimization.

SEO requires steady investment, both time and money is needed here. It's not as simple as "publishing a few blog posts" on your blog and calling it a day. Scalable content strategy for your Webflow website or any type of PR, outreach or linkbuilding campaign is a tedious process that can become expensive real fast.

So what factors should you, your boss or whole team consider when deciding whether or not to go for that SEO route?

1. Budget

Is there money to be invested monthly into this? How much money a month/year can you invest?

2. Time to Results

How much time you have to generate results? Days, weeks, months, years?

3. Profits

How much money one conversion makes you?

4. Market

Is market filled with giant players? Is your market big enough to scale? Business niched down? Enough space to grow?

5. Product Count

How many products, services or revenue sources do you have? Can you add more?

6. Product Changes or One-time Deal?

Does your product change? Does with each time product will be different? Concert tickets, events and other products that change might not be the best to sell with SEO as it takes time.

7. Web Presence

Do you have a website? Do you have backlinks to that website? Does the website have manageable CMS? Do we need to build it?

8. Do People Search for Your Problem?!

And last is the most important! Do people are problem aware and look for answers online? Because if the don't that's really not a job for SEO!
